This was our second move with Small Moves (the first being about three years ago). Anass and Nas moved us this time. They were everything we could have asked for: punctual (literally on the doorstep to the minute), effective, kind, good-natured and hardworking. They wrapped up all our stuff with plastic to keep it safe. They managed to get our too-big couch through our too-small door problem with a door and had all the necessary tools on-hand. On the arrival end, they put everything exactly where I’d labelled it to go and checked in with the ones I failed to label. Really cannot say enough nice things about these two. Geoff at dispatch was helpful and responsive for us both times.

Both reception & the movers were professional & easy to work with. Since it was pouring the guys even wrapped everything up to protect it. I sent an inquiry email and received a response very quickly. In no time, we had booked a schedule for our move. The guys were super professional. They were also very friendly and even though we ran into some problems of our own (no fault of theirs), they were super helpful in assisting us find some resolution even though they did not have to. Super great guys! Would recommend 100%.

I moved from New Westminster to Victoria this past weekend, and I can’t say enough about the Small Moves team that helped me do so! Brenda on the phone was super helpful and detailed with setting up my 2-day move. And on the moving days, Anees and Azzam were absolutely fantastic. They made sure to keep the truck in a safe spot that didn’t block traffic, and they took great care with my things, including the fragile boxes and disassembled furniture. They were respectful, friendly and good-natured, even with the 2 location pickup and all the stairs they had to deal with on the first day! Thanks so much for making my move seamless and stress-free!

Had an excellent moving experience today with Small Movers! First time hiring a moving service and was not disappointed. Aaron and Leda were very efficient and professional and handled the challenge like champs. Found them on Google and submitted a quote online. Within a day I received a phone call from their booking rep and, after describing my moving needs, provided a quote. They worked with my schedule and were able to fit me into the day I needed. I received a phone call a few days before the move to confirm the plans. They also accommodated my request for the on-duty movers to contact me when they were an hour away. (I was meeting with my landlord the morning of the move and would not be at home.) The movers wore face masks whenever they were expected to throughout the move. Overall, the entire move went very well and began and ended with Aaron confirming the crew’s start and end time on a phone app, which also handled payment by credit card. Highly recommended, A+++. Will very much hire Small Moves for my future moves.

I had an overall excellent experience with Small Moves. I moved my office across town – customer service asked me thorough questions to guage the volume and I rented frogboxes to simplify the move (which was easy because Small Moves gave me a discount code!). The two person team (Said and Nick) arrived on time, were clear with their communication, were courteous and chatty, handled all of my furniture with care and precision and drove safely to my new location. I had actually budgeted much more for the move and was pleasantly surprised by the final total.

Two guys. Extremely slow. Suddenly they speed up, probably more than twice, once I started going with them to the truck and back. Also very clumsy. They made a scratch on almost every furniture I have. They even broke some legs on some furniture. They were constantly bumping into a glass wall next to my building entrance. Luckily they didn’t break the glass. Also, I asked some duck tape and some plastic wrap, they didn’t have any of that. Moving company doesn’t have those stuff?! Very unprofessional. On top of everything, very expensive. 8 hours for two bedroom apartment, and they didn’t need to pack anything, only carry.

They handled two moves (one into a storage facility and one residential) and were very courteous, making every effort to avoid marking up newly painted walls. Brothers is the best moving company we have ever used. I would not recommend any other company. Joe & Ben were amazing. Our movers did not show up on moving day, talk about stressful, but Ben and Joe saved the day. They had already done 2 moves that day and were on their way home when they heard our story they came and moved us on very short notice. Full load from Vancouver out to Abbotsford. Joe and Ben are super nice guys, they are very friendly and courteous. They were great with our 4 year old also who was no doubt getting in the way from time to time. At the end of the day I felt like we got great value from Brothers and they were cheaper than the company that didn’t show up. If you have to move call Brothers and ask for Joe and Ben

By far the best moving company we have ever used. We had a ton of things go wrong with the building we were moving in to, including a broken elevator, and access issues. The team at brothers moving helped us in every way possible and absolutely saved us from a really bad situation.
They were so kind and understanding and incredibly professional throughout what ended up being an unexpected 2 day move. We are so grateful for this moving company and will continue to use them for every move in the future!

I hired these guys for my move last month and they were great. Super helpful, punctual and fast. In the building I was moving into, they were great about pointing out damage to the concierge that was not caused by my move and were very mindful about not causing damage- I felt like they had my back through the whole process. It was a bit more money than I had intended to spend for moving, but they were well worth it. I would definitely hire them again!

Great company! Ben & Joe make a fantastic team. They were professional and efficient but are also just pleasant people to chat to. Even though they came to our home after an unexpectedly long job, they still maintained a positive attitude and quickly emptied our home of our large furniture and still had the patience to accommodate for any last minute furniture moves. Thank you guys for making our move so much better. Will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family!
